On Friday, September 16, from 4-5 pm, MIT Professor of Mathematics Gigliola Staffilani presented “From Disorder to Order: How a Mathematician Sees Life and Work” about her research and her experience in mathematics to about 10 to 15 math students. The event was held in Emerson 210 (note this new location) and refreshments were provided!
